The old Canadian Northern (CNoR) swing bridge over the Trent River in Trenton is pictured in the foreground, swung in the "open" position. In the background is CP's long trestle for their Belleville Sub. At the time, the line crossing the old CNoR bridge was a CN spur track branching off CN's Trenton Spur (former Maynooth/Marmora Sub) and still in use to access industries on the east side of the river. Today, both the line and bridge spans have since been removed, leaving only the abutments.
