With only 54 cars in tow, CN 327 heads west on the north track as it approaches Caron at MP 19.7 of CN's Kingston Sub. Power is CSXT 9051 & CSXT 9027, both Dash8-44CW's. This CSX-only model is a Dash8-40CW externally, but a Dash9 internally. Built with 4400 horsepower, they have since been derated to 4000 horsepower and CSX now classifies them as CW40-9's.
