Boxcab CN 6710 had been displayed beside the Deux-Montagnes station until it was moved to a new location along the Rivière Mille Îles (seen here) just yesterday. According to the town of Deux-Montagnes (who I believe owns the locomotive), it will be restored by next summer; welcome news given how badly this veteran has deteriorated. CN 6710 was built by General Electric and delivered to the Canadian Northern as CNoR 600 in 1919. It was used on the electrified Deux-Montagnes line until being retired in 1995.
