A gloomy February day in 1966 finds TTC PCC 4601 (an ex-Cincinnati A10-class car) operating on a Kingston Road run, heading westbound on Queen Street crossing University Avenue. Visible in the background is Osgoode Hall (dating from 1832) juxtaposed with a more modern piece of architecture: the new iconic Toronto City Hall, that officially opened just a few months earlier September 1965.

  1. “No left turn.” That certainly didn’t last!
