Because of the ongoing protests in the Belleville area, CP 650 tied down in Wolverton on Wednesday for the night. Today, it headed east on a detour route which took it down the Hamilton sub instead of using the Galt sub. With a new train number of 254-2, and with a light snow falling, CP 8915 led it past the detector at mile 72 with the highlight of the train, NS 4224 pushing from the rear. This being one of the new 'key' trains, it was crawling along as it made its way south approaching the steep downhill grade to Hamilton.
