CN train 435 is hot on the heals of a westbound stack train that I'm guessing was 149 (it had Mid train DPU and didn't work Aldershot so unsure). CN 435 is seen rolling through the crossover at Snake so it can get around 421's train. CN 421 can be seen in the background and has just finished dropping a GMTX GP38 for the local crew to pick up. It was a pretty busy Monday morning with 148 out of sight lifting in the yard and 422 nearing Hamilton.

  1. Of the two (148 and 149) I think only 148 works Aldershot. 421 has it’s containers coming out of Mac from what I understand so 149 should be straight through whereas 148 lifts what containers 422 sets off.

The stacks you saw may have been one of the recent detours though.

  2. Thanks, the DPU threw me as I’ve never seen 149 with it before.

  3. there was a WB 132 Monday morning with all marine containers and a DPU in the middle – which I assumed was a detour heading east via Buffalo ?

  4. That must have been the train then

  5. 132 went through sarnia
