Wind the clocks back 5 years ago, SOO 6035 was still in its original paint and leading a CWR train up the Galt and onto the Hamilton Sub. One of the best chases I have had in ages, surprised no other railfans were out this cold March day.

  1. Nice photo and location. The soo’s were still common as were the sd’s at the time. But did still catch most peoples eye…

    Funny tho there are about 40 or more cp sd40-2′s in service and the numbers are growing as more are apparently being re-activated. 3 years ago almost all were stored and you could count on one hand how many were active. This does not count the sd40-3 rebuilds in st paul….
