Rather sad looking old former Wabush Lake Railway locomotives are seen rusting away below the Ogema grain elevators just south-east of the community. The units now sport reporting marks MDXX and are #910 and 909.
They're on the property of, or close to, the Ogema's Southern Prairie Railway; a nifty tourist train operation in town on former CP trackage. This operation is well received and usually runs June 1 to Sept 30th annually.
No idea what is to become of these odd looking low nose RS-18s. Not much, by the look of them.
