CN L514 rounds the southeast connector at Blenheim Junction on their way to work the Thompson's elevator in town. Blenheim Junction was once the diamond between PM's Subdivision 1 and Subdivision 2. Today, Sub 1 is mostly gone with just this stretch remaining in Blenheim for the elevators with the track ending a 1/4 west of this location, and about the same distance on the other end of the elevator. What was Sub 2 is still in use between Chatham and the junction here, and the two together are now designated as the Sarnia Spur. Signal masts still standing here are a reminder that at one time the PM or C&O deemed this track busy enough to justify CTC.
