I remember the coal dust atmosphere the most from visiting this CP yard some 45 years ago. Not a lot to see, but came away with this portrait of an then not-so-old GP9 as a souvenir. For being built back in 1959, it amazes me how long these locos have their lives extended. This became CP 8248 in the 80s and then, when retired, was dealt off to Cando Rail Services where it has served as their #4022 since 2015.
