The last Eastbound GO train of the day is passing new and old city hall in downtown Guelph. The old city hall with the old stone secondary building seen was built in 1856-7. The new was built around 2008-2009.

  1. Figured the older building was a train station at first!

  2. Neat I can see that, might be why i’m attracted to it, but a cursory search indicates this City Hall was built just after the railway arrived, within 1-2 years.

    The first station was located to the east of current and was demolished, made of brick.
