On Father's Day 2020, CP 246 departs Hamilton on its way to Welland with an interesting power set in the way of CMQ 9023-CP 6260. CMQ (ex-CP) SD40-2Fs led CP trains only a few times this summer in southern Ontario after they were acquired by CP; most of the times were on trains on the Hamilton Sub (143 on June 20, 246 on June 21 and 247 on June 22). The temperature was rising on this early summer day, and so was the interesting power on CP! Of all the shots I snapped as 246 crossed the Red Hill Valley Parkway, this one turned out the sharpest.
