MEDICINE HAT MOMENT. Continuing westward on their first transcontinental train journey, the photographer and his girlfriend quickly detrain the Canadian at Medicine Hat on September 21, 1988 to stretch their legs during its ten minute stop. Having boarded at Ottawa on September 19th, they were exposed to some of the most amazing vistas that Canada had to offer with the best yet to come. Bringing up the rear on # 1 was the dome car Kokanee Park, where they spent most of their 2 day run admiring the beautiful Canadian countryside totally unobstructed.
