BOARDING AT BANFF - During its short stop at Banff on September 24, 1988, the photographer jumps off to capture this image of the dome observation car Yoho Park bringing up the rear of the westbound Canadian while several tourists entrain for the overnight journey to Vancouver. Within moments, he too will join his girlfriend on board and by the time they reach Revelstoke, she will have accepted his proposal of marriage in the dining car with a ring he kept hidden since the commencement of their journey from his native Newfoundland.
