It is late on a warm spring day and CBNS 1563 and 1504 have just finished working industry over at Port Tupper a scant 5 miles away. This scene shows them stopped and perhaps taking a break with paperwork at the old Port Hawkesbury station before moving on to the mainland via the Canso Strait. The 1504, still in LLPX colours, is scheduled to be paint into G&W orange and renumbered 1561.

    That is a well weather stripped front door. I never realized there are so many different varieties of these orange units. Each with different initials for the shortline they work for.
