Once again, memories from one of my favourite spots in Niagara. The "South Siding Switch", which now is still in place as Montrose Sub, Chippawa Industrial spur. (The line that used to go thru the Falls area ends here). In this view, CP 5529, 5631, 5421, 5578, 5689 and 8239 head up a train westbound; with Montrose Yard just around the bend behind me... a mile or so. Times sure have changed. It used to be the Tower that stood out all by its' lonesome. We see the advance of the hotel scene in this image, and I would not be surprised if the tower is now dwarfed and hidden. Haven't been back lately to check.

    This looks to be the same spot now (picture from Google Maps) was taken last in 2020.
