  1. Wonderful image! A solid train of 40′ boxcars makes me think it’s probably a grain train. A lot of grain was moved to port in those old 40′ers before (and even well into) the covered hopper era. One can easily pick out the height difference in the famed CP “minibox” cars, versus standard-height (10’0″ / 10’6″ IH) cars.
