I know that there are two or three of you out there that have never been to Trail BC but if you take the opportunity to do so you will be impressed by the size of the mining and related processing plants located there! The industrial area sits at a slightly higher elevation that the town and it is the only area served by the CPR. The attached photograph was taken from the edge of the old highway leading into Trail. I never trespassed there because I did not think it was wise. Especially at that location. I was quite happy to catch the two CP first generation locomotives #'s 8616 & 8820 working together near the entrance to the site.
