Caption: VIA #60 has slowed down to 80 mph as it flies across the South Nation River and bounces over the Dollard Street crossing, about to slam past the station and through the rest of Casselman.
Wait, VIA #60? Due to a CN derailment in Prescott on September 2, VIA was detouring all Toronto-Montreal frequencies through Ottawa. VIA #60 normally runs as a J-train to Brockville with #50, but today it remained attached through to Ottawa. From Ottawa, it was cleared to race to Dorval, in a futile effort to make up lost time. This train was the final detour - its counterpart, VIA #61, sat in Coteau for a while before heading straight down the Kingston Subdivision.
