For those that got a chance to spend a morning at Burlington West back in the day remember it for being a great place for rail fans to hang out, usually without any hassle from CN police as well. It's a shame that it is now out of bounds. It is not the same with the removal of the station anyway. While the east end of the Oakville sub. had few through freights it was always nice catching the Oakville-Aldershot transfer jobs like 550. The Geeps always look good in clean paint hauling a long cut of parts boxes and auto racks. Today the third track has altered the signal arangement and weeds cut off a lot of the angles here not that I venture in much anymore for obvious reasons.

  1. This is very nice, both units still look good from re-building.

  2. Ironically 4131 (the trailer in this shot) is currently assigned to Oakville. Believe I heard it leading 554 yesterday.
