A CP westbound is pictured at the east siding switch Wolverton (Ayr, ON) on November 5, 2008. Power was relatively-new CP 8885 followed by SD40-2 #6028. By the late 2000-2010 decade, the CP GEVOs were beginning to takeover (older GE models -9600, 9700 and 9800 series - dominated); however, there were still a number of SD40-2s still in active service, often unfortunately, in trailing positions. Also note, this was the beginning of the construction of Wolverton Yard and the new signals.

  1. 6028 is still around, working out of BC but it looks far worse than it did back in 2008!
