Currently CN 4100 is awaiting a date with K&K’s scrapper’s torch in Welland, Ontario at the former Martech / former Stelpipe facility. Over 26 years earlier it is seen on the point of CN 511 at London about to head westbound to Sarnia on a decent winter day. The consist included; 4100, 4115, 9608, 9569, 9454 and Burlington Northern 9526. At that time, CN was lifting hundreds of newly built BN SD70’s from the GMDD facility in London and forwarding them to BN home rails at Chicago, Illinois.
