Caption: Rolling along, Toronto-bound; CP #523 is photographed by Palmer Av in Niagara Falls; about 2 minutes from fouling up all the traffic around Clifton Hill. This used to drive the city nuts. Seventy car trains running at about 10 MPH caused terrible bottlenecks. But, in the end, the city won out and by December 2001 the trains were gone and the track was eventually pulled up. This late day train is pulled by CP 8249, HLCX 6500, HATX 506 and CP 5582.
