CN 421 has just crossed Strange Street in Kitchener as it heads westbound to Stratford with 9668, EMDX 806 and 9508 after lifting and setting-off at the yard. In the background the tower from the Epton Industries Inc. plant at King Street is seen above downtown Kitchener. Later that summer, the company would announce bankruptcy and in turn cease plastics production, eventually closing the facility by December 31 that year, after failing to meet a payment plan.
