A mid-morning outing to mile 2 of the Halton Sub proved to be quite rewarding from a local standpoint, this train being no exception. CN L579, a seemingly uncommon train ID is headed up the hill approaching Mac Yard with an intriguing lashup of CN 4708, 7258, and former CitiRail GEVO 3967. Following the power was around 5,000 feet of containers & autoracks from the Brampton Intermodal Terminal. I should also note that only the GP38 & GP9 were online and were working their absolute hardest to grind up the hill without stalling, making for quite the sound as I’m sure you can imagine.
