Back when CP traffic (trackage rights over CN) thru Burlington was heavy and consistent, we would be out to catch moves thru what was an already busy railfanning location at the old 'Freeman' station. Back in the day this was the village of Freeman; in later years known as Burlington West station by many of the fans. Witnessed is eastbound CP 8211, 4205, 4206 and 8208,mix of GP-9u and MLW C-424; examples of popular series now gone.

  1. Back in the day we would see more CP trains than CN on the Oakville sub.

  2. I know this place. My home away from home.
