On a lovely April morning CN L580 works Brantford Yard as Via 71 makes its station stop with Via 6420 bringing up the rear of the train for a meeting of the 6420's. I had thought this shot might present itself in Brantford again but the GTW 6420 CN 4906 set has already left town in favour of different units...it seems when the exciting stuff is in Brantford it doesn't last all that long. CN 1439 only lasted 4 hours back in 2020..

  1. And now GTW 6425 is in Brantford. It’s less appealing since its in CN paint, but what are the chances of getting the last two GTW GP40-2s in Brantford back to back? Sweet rides parked on Usher St. too.

  2. Two 6420’s ! Better head to the nearest casino !! Such a nice panoramic picture with one of my favourite “grand” historic railway stations with its beautiful red roof front and centre. Your talent with the drone camera is most enjoyable. The blue of the GTW 6420 is so much better than CN black. In another year or two, this picture will be history with the new Siemens train sets replacing F40 powered LRC cars. Well done, John
