Fifty years and two days ago, E&N train No. 52 from Wellcox in Nanaimo on Saturday 1972-05-20 was a bit later than usual arriving in Victoria, so was in bright morning light for a change, and was a prime target for me just off a graveyard shift as a wiper at the roundhouse. With a brand new Pentax Spotmatic camera (first roll, second shot), I was ready as Baldwins 8010+8001 headed into the yard at 0830 PDT at mileage 0.5 from end of track at the Store Street depot.
