CN returns to Stratford West? Once CN took the Guelph sub back more signs have been put back up in the traditional CN style - unlike some other parts of Ontario where the new signs don't exactly look prototypical (or shall I say Historically accurate, as once the signs are put up they are immediately prototype?) the Guelph sub signs are bloody nice looking. However.. I'm pretty sure Stratford West is new. Is it? Comment below. Either way three GP9's leading this L568 brought me out and I chased to St. Marys and back.

  1. Yes, the sign is new, because GEXR called the junction Cowie.

  2. What was it called prior to GEXR?

  3. It was already Cowie (no junction) when GEXR took lease of the Guelph Sub in November 1998. Prior to CN changing it to Cowie this location was known as Stratford Jct.

  4. last unit appears to be 4790, nice stuff!
