The climb up Orr's Lake Hill is the stuff of legend going back to the days of stem helpers that were based at Galt...if they didn't stay with the train all the way from Toronto. AC technology has seemingly reduced the challenge, although I have witnessed pairs of GE's down to less than 5mph trying to drag tonnage unimaginable in the old days up the hill. Today's 137 is something of a rocket, although I think the blowers were helping keep the leaves off the rails as 8753 and BNSF 7407 make great time getting up the hill.
