  1. The yellow CN Ore cars came down from Pine Point, N.W.T. ,on CN as far as Calgary, where they were interchanged to CP. I have heard that a lot of ore was stock-piled at the mine but the rails were lifted from the line all the way back to the junction with the line to Hay River, N.W.T. There have been rumours hauling the ore out to that junction by truck and loading it into railway cars for furtherance to Trail.

  2. Oh my.. this is awesome. Great photo.

Robin so you think they may re-activate the mine basically?

  3. What I heard was that the mine had so much ore stockpiled, it was now a good deal to haul out the stockpiled product because of the costs in the marketplace. No word on any reopening of the mine.

  4. Now there’s a fine A-B-B-A set of C-Liners! Excellent photo!
