  2. What a great photo! 50 years after your shot, FP9A CN 6505 lives on as Pan Am PAR 1. It also has the distinction of being on Canada’s Centennial Train as CN 1967 “Centennial”.

    Also 50 years after your shot, I snapped these scenes at Dauphin, MB returning from my mid-summer trip to and from Churchill, MB. The grain elevator and station track are gone, but the station still serves passengers multiple times each week.

    The CN station building in Dauphin still stands today and has been beautifully taken of. It houses the Dauphin Rail Museum.
