A classic profile! CN #1 The Super Continental has arrived in Jasper, AB on this frigid November day led by CN 6513. Snow on the ground and the mountains is giving passengers on board everything they expected and hoped for on this journey through the Rockies. I sure miss the sounds and smells of those steam heated consists. :-)

  1. Another great image of a classic passenger locomotive. In the background I see a flat of track panels and a flat with wheel assembled trucks at the ready for the next derailment.

  2. Good eye! From my photo vantage point on the platform I had a good view of the yard. It was full of Work Equipment, boarding cars, and the Jasper Auxiliary consist. Sure wish I had a digital camera back in those days!

  3. Another beauty image….only thing missing are a few Caribou known to frequent the area
