AN AMERICAN VISITOR... The Southwest has experienced it's share of 'not your average' power, and us 'foamers' in Chatham sure have had our share of the luck. Most notably, was the chase of the old venerable CN GMD-1's. First, 1412 and 1444 in February, 2022. And, the return of 1412 in July 2020. Here, 'FPON' unit GT 6224 in all it's glory with it's faded red front, sits basking on a mid-summer day in the siding of what remains of CN's sidings in Chatham after working local freight 514.

Glad I got this photo when I did, as either CN or another company has since fenced off this area off of Keil Drive, making this angle no longer accessible.
