A view looking west along the CP Havelock sub featuring the old Cavan station. This community was located about 10 miles west of Peterborough. The station is in rough shape, and not long after this photo was taken it was torn down. I do not have the exact date but no doubt it met its demise when CP did some "housekeeping" along the line in the latter half of the 1970s.
Today this track is part of a CP "Internal Short line", the Kawartha Lakes Railway.
