A pair of CN SW1200RS units from class GR-12f built in 1956 rush back to Toronto Yard with a van hop movement. The units are 1228 and 1237. The units may be from the same order, but there are many differences.
1228: small number board numbers; grey spark arresters; low CN symbol; low cab number.
1237: large number board numbers; silver spark arresters; high CN symbol; high cab number.

  1. By the looks of the dusting of snow being kicked up I’d say he getting along at track speed. Nice photo.
