One of those photos where the story and scenery are more interesting than the train. This day I headed to the junction after work like I often did back then, just incase something was lined. Luckily the “pick up” was getting ready to depart as storm clouds built in the distance. I typically didn’t do this angle but this day I wanted to work in the sky as the very short train departed, with typical power fir the time. As I headed for CN know a train was coming I had to stop for a bit to photograph a small funnel cloud that formed over the Niagara Escarpment, unfortunately it didn’t form while the CP train was departing.
