Finally a photo worthy H24. Today only two former SOO GP38’s remain in the old “Dual Flag” paint, I’m not sure if any other units other than a few SD40’s still survive in this paint. CP’s major overhaul project many years back pretty much wiped them out. After watching this unit gradually head east from Winnipeg I figured what were the odds it or any other belt pack equipped units will end up on H24. It has happened but very rare these days. Thankfully 4404 was dropped at West Toronto yesterday and somehow the stars aligned this morning as it headed west for Hornby with a long cut of tank cars. Hopefully it sticks around for a while.

  1. Yes I noticed 4404 was at Lambton. Nice catch out at Streetsville Marcus.
