Smoke hangs heavy from early season forest fires in Thunder Bay, Ontario on June 26, 1980, as the first section of an eastbound train arrives behind a pair of SD40-2s and a pair of SD40s. 5655 leads the 5771, 5546, and 5540. Location show is a guestimate as my memory does not go back that far!!

    It was always important to keep a good eye for the colour of the flags. Green flags always looked good, from an appearance point of view.

    This would be a couple blocks east at the “Bottom End of C Yard”, located where Brock Street ends at Syndicate Ave.
