CN 334 was detoured onto the Canal Sub and Thorold Sub to bypass the CN Stamford Sub at slow speed coming down the Thorold Sub, this was rare back in 2000.

Unfortanly came through just when the sun was setting.

  1. Super rare shot…neat to see in any lighting

  2. This is super cool. I had heard of detours in the Trillium era but never thought it actually happened.

  3. Dang this is awesome

  4. I only knew about it because I was employed with Trillium Railway at that time.

  5. What was the routing

  6. Track work on the CN Stamford Sub west of Robbins to Clifton

  7. Dean did it come from the Canal sub through welland? I believe since Bridge 10 was removed by 2000 they would have had to take trillium all the way from Feeder.

  8. Came through from Feeder and onto the Canal Sub through Dain City, Tunnelbridge, and Welland onto the Thorold Sub.
