Caption: TTC PCC 4338 has just departed the recently opened Dundas West Subway Station (out of frame to the left), and is turning off Edna Avenue onto Dundas Street West to head south/east across the city on the Dundas route, via downtown, to Broadview Subway Station in the east end.

In the background, Dundas Street continues north to West Toronto ("The Junction" neighbourhood), along with the Dundas streetcar trackage to Runnymede Loop. Streetcar service north/west of Dundas West Station would continue for two more years until being replaced with a trolleybus service in May 1968.
