The Big Valley, Alberta roundhouse was built for Canadian Northern Railway in 1912, but saw little use after the 1920's and was abandoned in the 1940's. It was designated as a Provincial Historic Resource by Alberta in 2010.

    Thanks for sharing, always nice to see these former facilities being protected in some form as they are such a big part of Canadian history.
