With the sad loss of heritage unit sister 7011 in a wash out on the former CMQ a couple days earlier, catching 7012 in the lead of train 236 was a nice tribute to it fallen siblings, 7005 reportedly was also damaged beyond repair. Train 236 here is seen getting back up to track speed after performing a 30 car tail end drop at Hornby yard well in the distance.

    Very nice picture Marcus, love seeing the CP Heritage units with the old beaver crest and paint scheme. Agree with you, a sad loss, and sounds like the 7012 might be a write-off. Even if it does get repaired, doubt that it be repainted in heritage colour scheme. Thanks for sharing, John
