GEXR 2303 (Texaco Job) is sitting south of the junction switch with the Stelco Spur. The Garnet Yard Job with QGRY 2301 and RLK 4095 trailing blocks of coil cars and tanks is stopped north of the junction switch, after a job briefing they will pull south onto the Stelco Spur, cut off the tail end block of tanks just north of the switch and then continue south to Stelco. GEXR 2303 will couple onto the tanks and after getting their air will head south on the Hydro Spur to switch Texaco.

  1. Your photo is 2023, but your brain is stuck in the late 1970′s early 80′swhen you reference ‘Texaco’. :-)

  2. Texaco aka Imperial Oil. Growing up in Jarvis I knew this property as Harewood Acres. The 1971 International Plowing Match was held on the site of the future refinery, construction started shortly after. Imperial Oil assumed ownership in 1989.
