NBSR 6441 waits in line with a plethora of other foreign power at the ONR shop complex in North Bay, ON on a beautiful, unseasonably mild mid-April morning. In town for a meeting and dinner the night before, I was very fortunate to get a personal walking tour of the car and locomotive shops and exterior yards the following morning with a friend and current shop supervisor at the facility. The continuous high-quality workmanship produced by the employees here at the ONR shops is a big reason why the facility is continually full of work projects, and has a backlog outside waiting to get in for maintenance and repairs. A very neat place to see in full action. :-)

    Very interesting picture!!!
    6441 is a GP40-2 ex CSX 6441, exx B&O 4428 blt June 1981
    RS80 is a SD70ACe ex PRLX 4831, exx CSX 4831 blt in 2004
    Can’t find anything on the 1867 which is obviously ex NS.

    The NS units are for ONR itself I believe.

    1867 is a GP38-2 ex FURX 1867, exx NS 5563.

    I captured 31 different locomotives during my visit to the ONR shops and yard. More pics to come! :-)
