There are a total of four ex-VIA/exx-CN passenger cars in The Pas available for use on the Puk Mixed. Only two (1 baggage and 1 coach) were needed on this day.

Love the “ fresher “ paint in VIA blue and yellow no less. Is that a rear view mirror (silver object next to the blocked out window) ? I assume the outside light above the vestibule door is to assist in passengers getting on and off at a stop where there is no other lighting. Thanks for sharing, John
Good morning John. Good eye on that rear view mirror! All three of the KRC coaches had this business car style mirror on each side.
The added exterior lighting was installed above each vestibule door opening on the coaches, and near the baggage door openings of all the cars to provide lighting at all the stops. The vestibule ends of each coach also had the additional external lights.
KRC 3248 and KRC 5648 also had red marker lights added to the exterior of the vestibule end.
