On a summer evening in 1993, CN 413 with lead unit 9413 west, was sent down the Guelph Subdivision to Sarnia, Ontario. Train 413 was a very high priority finished vehicle train that had operated between Oshawa and Sarnia where the auto racks made their connection to the US. On this evening, the train had to take the siding at Kitchener to meet the joint VIA Rail/ Amtrak International before proceeding west. Here, with the crew at the popular Dairy Queen, CN 9413 is viewed at the Kitchener yard near Lancaster Street.
