With the CN mainline just returned to the north side of the Thompson River (bridge 34.0 in the distance) just west of Walhachin, an early morning (0643 PDT) view of CN 5352 + 5262 + 5091 handling a westward hotshot with an essentially brand new SD40-2W unit leading and a block of loaded open tri-level auto carriers near the headend was possible on Sunday 1980-06-08.
