Two's company, three's NOT a crowd!
VIA 691 is in the siding at left, KRC 291 The Pukatawagan Mixed sits on the main in front of the station, and yard switcher HLCX 3840 is in the distance having just tacked a few cars on the tail end of The Mixed.
HLCX 3840 is on its way back to the yard near the roundhouse, KRC 291 is just minutes away from departing The Pas, MB for points northwest, and VIA 691 will sit idling for a few more hours until it's time to head north to Churchill, MB.
Endless railroad action, all day, every day, in The Pas. :-)

  1. Brrrrr, I can feel the cold.

  2. -25C feeling -29C made the snow crunch under foot and the nostril hairs stiffen up pretty good! :-) A great day!

  3. This is one of those times where the photo is worth the bitter cold!
