Three of CP's recently rebuilt GP units, two being former Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo units, approach Hunter Street station. All three units would survive until the end of the GP7/9 era on CP in the mid 2010s. CP GP7u 1684, former TH&B 74, emerged from rebuild just one year earlier, would be retired in 2013. Second up, CP GP 7u 1686, the former TH&B 76, would be retired in 2012. Finally CP8205, originally, CP 8648, would be retired in 2014.
